From
our experience of classroom teaching and of working with teachers on
INSET, we know that there is a great need for resource materials which:
-
promote spiritual and moral development
-
apply to all the curriculum subjects
-
meet the required OFSTED guidelines without adding to teachers'
workloads
The
Charis resource books are designed to meet these needs for teachers
of English, French, German, Mathematics and Science.
Written by experienced classroom teachers and trialed extensively throughout
the UK, these materials are suitable for use with present exam syllabi
and their photocopiable student sheets mean that there is no need for
you to buy class sets.
In trialling reports, teachers told us that they had found no other
resources like these. We commend them to you as, we believe, a unique
and valuable addition to your school's resources.
Foreword
to the first CHARIS publications by Professor Sir Stewart Sutherland

introduction to, and rationale for, the Charis Project by the project
