Christian Education Theory Conference
This conference, held annually in January, is organised and funded by The Stapleford Centre. It is designed to stimulate Christians in education to reflect on their vocation and is mainly targeted towards academics and interested practioners. The conference has been running since 1997 and has been attended by 213 different delegates, including a handful from abroad each year. For more information click on the following:
National Conference for Christian Teachers and Teaching Assistants 2008
A residential conference offering busy Christian teachers and teaching assistants time to stop, think and reflect. Delegates will be invited to consider how our understanding of the 'wholeness' of the person, of life and of God's world influence both the task of teaching and the promotion of pupil and staff wellbeing.
This conference is run jointly by ACT (Association of Christian Teachers), Scripture Union, The Stapleford Centre and TISCA (The Independent Schools Christian Alliance) (previously also Care for Education) and has been successful from 2001.
National Conference for Christians in School Leadership
(formerly the National Christian Headteachers' Conference)
A conference for all in school leadership. Organised by an independent group of Christian Head Teachers and supported by ACT (Association of Christian Teachers), The Stapleford Centre and TISCA (The Independent Schools Christian Alliance).
