Then, because so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat, he said to them, “Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.” Mark 6:31
Come and Rest recognises the need for those working in our busy schools to have time apart to rest and reflect and so offers the opportunity to spend time away from the pressures and busyness. It aims to gives those attending the space in which to explore their relationship with God, and how this relates to their experience in schools.
Through a combination of led meditations and personal space, Come and Rest will renew your vision and sense of purpose and remind you of your place as a loved child of God. It will offer opportunities to explore how your personal faith can be integrated with your vocation to teach or work with children.
Ideal for those who have never been on a quiet day before and for those with more experience.

The previous Come and Rest day in March was very well received, with some excellent feedback from delegates:
"The whole day was excellent, well structured and stimulating but with much appreciated time to take things in".
