The Stapleford Centre is a highly respected independent Christian education organisation offering the following innovative CPD programme.
Aim of the courses
The
aim of the programme is to provide teachers, schools’ workers

Ongoing personal and friendly tuition throughout the course with well-qualified tutors
-
A generous amount of face-to-face contact with tutors and fellow students, with between three and twelve residential days (depending on the course)
-
User-friendly, up-to-date and interactive course books for every taught module
-
A supportive context in which to promote open Christian reflection on these subject areas.
What our students say about the courses:
“The Faith in Schools course has fitted in very well with my work as primary schools co-ordinator [for a Christian schools’ work project]. It has enabled me to validate my work within the educational context and gain a broader perspective on issues that teachers, young people and educationalists face.”
“Working as a minister to two large secondary schools I have found the content of the course [Faith in Schools] stimulating and relevant. The course is extremely well-led and managed and the whole experience has been a tremendous help in my ministry.”
“The distance learning nature of the Stapleford course [Religious Education] meant that I was able to fit study round the demands of teaching, church commitments and a young family. The most valuable element was the practical nature of the residential. The opportunity to discuss approaches and methods of teaching RE is a privilege for the often isolated RE teacher.”
