Margaret has taught primary and secondary pupils and adult learners. Over the last twenty five years, she has developed RE curriculum materials for use by pupils aged 5-14 and several books for churches. She is also a part-time lecturer at the University of Gloucestershire.
As a free-lance trainer and writer she works for schools, LEAs, Dioceses, churches and other organisations including: HMI, CEM, the BBC and the National Gallery Company. She has written, or co-written over fifty books as well as acting as consultant to many projects.
